Hello Campers!
I am up bright and early this morning, trying to figure out what pages to submit for Elle's Studio design team call, Pink Paislee's featured artist, and for Naptime Equals Scraptime's challenge with Glitz papers as prizes (YAY!!).  After ordering everything in Glitz's new lines, I am now in need of back up - yes they are that fabulous!

So anyway, if you would like to check out my gallery (mojodawn) on http://www.scrapbook.com/ feel free - and leave me some advice if you have a minute on which ones you think would work best for submission.

I utilized some collage/mixed media techniques with this next LO.  I am just catching on to this instructional bit so bear with me, I did not take pictures at each step as I should have (and will in the future).

Here I took the incredibly glam and fabulous Scarlett line of Glitz Designs - the gorgeous red paper and the book page Paper Layer.  I first gessoed and then Modge Podged the paper and set the Paper Layer over it.  I allowed the Modge Podged Paper Layer to dry mostly, and then began to rip it off for aged effect.  I was so bummed when I ripped right thru that little doggie's ear and tail..darnit!  Eh, it happens.  I then added some layers of randomly placed paint streaks and stamped the word DREAM.

Here I took a block stamp that I purchased from http://www.stampington.com/ years ago.  It is a block with different stamp patterns on each side.  I used the side with the writing, and the "bubble" or multiple circle stamp.
Tadaaa! I am in love with the latest Glitz products...you should get them - Hoopla, Scarlett and Love Nest, you can't go wrong with any of them!  The bright red paper, the big gorgeous bling, the Paper Layers, and the tuille are all by Glitz.
