Here is a boy LO with flowers, pink AND bling! I think it works well with the houndstooth (October Afternoon) and the (Hero Arts) Cling flower stamps. I released my white knuckled grip from my stash of Love Elsie (goodbye dear friend) papers and used on for the background. The black and white music "strip" is LE as well.

Isn't it cool how that white part of his pj's looks like a bright star, and brings attention to his face?
Aaaack! I just noticed I didn't tie off some string on the button in the flower! Eh, I'll get right on that....

This is a mini I put together to celebrate my new house I bought this year.
I had some trials and tribulations through the buying process, but everything worked out in the end.  :)
I used a number of lines in this projects, most notably - Lilly Bee, Studio Calico and Hambly.  Be sure to contact me if you want any info on any of the products used, I will be happy to reply.
Thanks for peeking :)

Happy Holidays World!  I am going to give away a nice box of scrap goodies to one lucky follower this Christmas, so don't be shy!...Click that little button over there, hang around a little and leave some gentle critique  :)  When I am full to the brim with Christmas spirit, I will figure out how to randomly choose a lucky individual to bequeath my gift.  Thanks!

Hello! I am so excited that Christmas is just a week away! The spirit is palpable in my house, and I am loving every minute (even the pressure filled ones).

I just got a kit from The Story Matters (thanks again to Mandi Kay Starner at Paper Issues for leading me there with her delicious crumbs of paper projects!)

The adorable lil deer, the berry sprig and the vintage bottle cap are from Red Lead Paperworks. The black cs, the small cardstock strips, alphas, canvas tag and sqiggly line (heehee) across the page are all in the kit from The Story Matters.

I gave it all a holiday gleam with some Marshmallow Glimmer Mist.

Thanks for looking and HOHOHO!!!

This is a littll Graphic 45 Envelope Mini that I put together for my sister.  I am going to fill the pockets with photos, gift cards and little notes and well wishes from my son and I.

I used older papers here by KI Memories and stickers by Creative Imaginations.  MS poinsettias and American Crafts Flair add punch, along with the Smooch and Glimmer Mist.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!  ~Dawn

I decided to scrap and shoot my title as opposed to using one of the five fonts available.  None of them expressed "Mojo Mayhem" sufficiently.

Okay - changed the background too.  Tried many but this one fit the best.

Leave a comment if you would please to either keep or change header?
Keep or change background?

Thanks for your opinion!

This is my latest LO, again I am feeling the spirit..and not in a Christine O'Donnell sort of way :)
Truth be told, I took the pic last night (11.21.10) heehee
The background paper is hella old SEI Black Orchid - think the scalloped paper is MM. Used some Sass Lass Felties and papers on this puppy, along with Maya Road trinket flowers and Prima bling.

Go check out all the Christmas eye candy at Paper Issues  http://paperissues.blogspot.com/

Thanks for peeking :)

Hello Campers!
I am up bright and early this morning, trying to figure out what pages to submit for Elle's Studio design team call, Pink Paislee's featured artist, and for Naptime Equals Scraptime's challenge with Glitz papers as prizes (YAY!!).  After ordering everything in Glitz's new lines, I am now in need of back up - yes they are that fabulous!

So anyway, if you would like to check out my gallery (mojodawn) on http://www.scrapbook.com/ feel free - and leave me some advice if you have a minute on which ones you think would work best for submission.

I utilized some collage/mixed media techniques with this next LO.  I am just catching on to this instructional bit so bear with me, I did not take pictures at each step as I should have (and will in the future).

Here I took the incredibly glam and fabulous Scarlett line of Glitz Designs - the gorgeous red paper and the book page Paper Layer.  I first gessoed and then Modge Podged the paper and set the Paper Layer over it.  I allowed the Modge Podged Paper Layer to dry mostly, and then began to rip it off for aged effect.  I was so bummed when I ripped right thru that little doggie's ear and tail..darnit!  Eh, it happens.  I then added some layers of randomly placed paint streaks and stamped the word DREAM.

Here I took a block stamp that I purchased from http://www.stampington.com/ years ago.  It is a block with different stamp patterns on each side.  I used the side with the writing, and the "bubble" or multiple circle stamp.
Tadaaa! I am in love with the latest Glitz products...you should get them - Hoopla, Scarlett and Love Nest, you can't go wrong with any of them!  The bright red paper, the big gorgeous bling, the Paper Layers, and the tuille are all by Glitz.
