Mojo Mayhem

Hidey Ho Campers!! Beautiful day today in the hill country of Texas! So, being that it's my day off since the restaurant is closed, I started off the day wanting to scrap. Be that as it may, I couldn't get a page going for the life of me. To the rescue comes Shelley May...yay! Shelley May is my new buddy and one of the design team over at Paper Issues. Check her out she is friggin funny AND talented...(clearing throat) *ahem* beeitch *cough*

Anyway, Shelley gave me a challenge of using red, turquoise (yay!) and kraft with a little yellow, some stitching, 4 punches and one word title and one pic. So here is my take on that...(anyone who knows me knows I can't do what I am told verbatum!) or verbatim?

This is a pic of my legs and Cade's intertwined as we layed on the couch and watched the History Channel. :) I used some awesome apps on my iphone to vintage circa 1970 the photo. Love that damn  iphone and those apps!

Howdy y'all! Here is my gorgeous boy a couple years ago at the Jersey Shore. This is using the Studio Calico kit for February and a couple Clear Cuts from Little Yellow Bicycle (the "tatoos" and wing). I am pulling myself out of a devastating funk...you know where you wonder "what's it all for?" and you don't have one single iota of an idea for a page...and your self confidence (creatively) is shot...Yeah - I have been dealing with a doozy. Hoping the new items I have coming from CHA will help..usually does :)

Any of you get the mojo blues?

More Sass! If you know me, you know I like my Sassafras Lass! But there are so many great lines coming out I cannot wait to get my hands on the next piece of eye candy! Num Num. :P

Hi again! I know, I know...it's been awhile..but I have been making cards for our restaurant for Valentines Day. Here are a couple using the new Paper Crush line by Sassafras Lass. They make it too easy to put a fabulous card together quick! Love that. Adore this paper :)

Oh man, do I love this picture. I remember thinking, "it doesn't get any better than this" and "remember this moment". Well, I certainly do, and it gives me a warm, soft fuzzy feeling everytime!

I think this page needs some thread..and I have vowed to get myself a sewing machine when I get my taxes back for just that reason. Wooo Hooo!

Sass Lass is speckled with OA and some ancient stuff in my stash :) TFL yall!!

ALAS! It does exist! A photo of my mom, my sister and I all together. This was at my sister's wedding outside of Austin TX a couple years back.

I love the Pink Paislee yellow graph paper here. It was part of a Studio Calico add-on kit along with the mini rose ribbon and yellow Sass blossom. Various bits and pieces from three different kits now that I look at it!
Love, Elsie buttons are just too cute, don't you wish she was still around? :(

Hey y'all!  Time to get over to Paper Issues to check out the Valentines projects, and link up your own stuff for a chance to win some awesome swag from SEI!!  Now git!  :)

This is a picture I have used in the past for LOs. Hope that's not taboo, but I just love it. And we ARE big-time cuddle monsters :)

Thanks to Sassafrass Lass for the remnants (strips) of stickers...no idea what the name of the product was, but it doesn't matter - order anything from them, you won't be sorry!

Good Stuff is written in Pink Paislee alphas, and framed with white cs punched with an Around the Page Punch by Martha Stewart in double scallop (?)

Butterfly stamps are Clear Stamps from Jillibean Soup. Pink Pearls are by Kaisercraft and were a bonus from A Cherry On Top. Thanks!

Used a Copic for coloring some of the circles in the wings.

Oh! Duh...almost forgot! I snagged the design from Patty over at The Story Matters - it was her donation to Page Maps this week. Go check 'em both out - really great work!

Thanks for being here!

Hello and welcome! My name is Dawn Perkins, or MojoDawn, as I am known in creative circles and most social media channels.
Come in, kick off your shoes, and peruse my artistic endeavors awhile. I'd offer you some hot cocoa, but I don't want to get any on the computer screen. :)
